We work with children and adults with a variety of physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities, providing therapy and recreational opportunities that involve interaction with horses. RMRT Seeking Instructors
Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy (RMRT) in Boulder, CO is seeking passionate, self motivated therapeutic riding (TR) and/or ESMHL instructors (experience preferred). Must be PATH certified. Part-time positions available immediately for weekdays and Saturday. Opportunities for growth in our Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and TR classes.
The mission of Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy is to assist individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or emotional challenges to reach their fullest potential through equine assisted therapies and activities.
Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy offers a variety of equine assisted activities and therapies from Monday through Saturday year-round, weather permitting with occasional week-long breaks to allow our horse partners intermittent much-deserved rest.
We are very proud to introduce our partners. Horses are very thoughtful in their decision making, they give honest and immediate feedback. Experiencing and learning from the herd dynamics allows us to shift and make small changes in our actions and behaviors, cultivating our social and emotional intelligence skills over time.
The staff at RMRT is comprised of compassionate and experienced instructors, therapists and equine trainers. Many of our instructors are PATH-certified Equine Specialists in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL) as well as Therapeutic Riding Instructors.

The volunteers at Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy team up with our Path International certified riding instructors to ensure that each lesson is safe and fun, as well as physically and emotionally beneficial to the rider. Volunteers develop positive relationships with the students, which help build the confidence they need to improve their riding skills. Join us!
RMRT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit therapeutic horseback riding program located in south Boulder. Our program relies heavily upon volunteers and donations to provide our services to our riders at a reasonable cost and to keep our special horses happy and healthy.
Being around horses positively affects people. Riding can improve strength, balance, postural control, muscle tone, coordination, sensory processing, speech, motor development, cognitive development, confidence and emotional well being, among other things.
