Welcome to Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy!
Please note that the September volunteer training has been rescheduled for October 15.
RMRT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit therapeutic horseback riding program located in south Boulder. We work with children and adults with a variety of physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities, providing therapy and recreation opportunities using horses and horsemanship. Being on a horse positively affects a rider’s whole person. It can improve strength, balance, postural control, muscle tone, coordination, sensory processing, speech, motor development, cognitive development, confidence and emotional well being, among other things.
Our program relies heavily upon volunteers and donations to provide our services to our riders at a reasonable cost and to keep our special horses happy and healthy.
We invite you to look around. We’d love to hear from you if you feel you could benefit from our programs or would like to join our team of volunteers and/or benefactors.
